Did you already get Digital Damsel? Congratulations! Your online safety is very important too.
Set-up is easy. Letâs get started.
Choose Digital Damsel. This will redirect you to its own website so if you want to order other safety tools, they must be ordered separate.
On the next page, youâll see the four main, amazing, services and what they each include. At the bottom of the page, click the âEnroll Nowâ button.Â
Next, Youâll be given two options. A family plan or an individual plan. Choose the one best for you and fill out the Main address the service will be used for and your billing information.
Now, check your email from âddsupportâ for your Welcome message and setup instructions. Donât forget to read how this service will show up on your statement. Hang on to this email for itâs important phone numbers for references. This email also includes the link to login, your sign-up login and password.
Right-click the link to login on a separate tab screen. This makes it easier to see your login information from your email. After you click âContinueâ, youâll be able to change the password.
Now, youâll be asked three security questions to help make your account even more secure.
Login and youâll come to the Main home screen.
There is a little more setting up to do.
**I chose the âIndividualâ Plan so I may have less information to set up. If you have the family Plan, it may be a little more in depth since youâll be adding more electronics and people to your account.**
Now, click on the âID Theft Protectionâ tab, then âSetup your Accountâ.
After you fill out the primary account holders information, youâll come to your ID Protection Dashboard.
Take your time to set up the rest of your information in each of the tabs on the left.
The âComputer Servicesâ tab has the tech support information.
I highly recommend going ahead and doing the computer tune up. This may take awhile depending on how long youâve had your computer.
The next tab over is for âCyberhood Watchâ. This page has so many resources. You even get a Bonus Cyberhood Watch software key!
Under your âMy Accountâ tab, you can go back and update your information as needed.

In the 1950s, Brownie Wise started throwing parties. But they werenât just like any party. Wiseâs parties featured bonus gifts like speedboats and trips to Florida, sparking a revolutionary sales method coined party-plan marketing. She was the mother of Tupperware parties â and her method is making a comeback.
The depth and breadth of products one can buy while sitting on the living room couch with a few friends is virtually limitless. More than six decades after the first Tupperware party, people are now hosting parties where guests can check out personal self-defense items (Damsel in Defense) and tea collections (Zendigo Teas) to nail polish (Jamberry Nails) and pet products (pawTree).
In a time when technology can seem overwhelming to many, the personal touch of the home party is not only fun, but fills a need for personal selling and customer service, said Deb Bixler, creator of the Virginia-based Cash Flow Show, a service-based business model.
âThe No. 1 commodity in the 21st century is fun,â she said. âWhen a home party-plan consultant creates a fun environment it becomes a way for guests to have a great night out while shopping with friends. They learn more about the product line and how it may add value to their lives. Between the personal touch and the fun factor, the home party plan is a great way to earn income and to entertain.â
Sarah Quezada of Ontario is a consultant for three direct sales companies â Miche, a fashion handbag and jewelry company; Origami Owl, a custom jewelry company; and, most recently, Tupperware.
âI worked for 10 years and then 2 1/2 years ago I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis,â Quezada said. âI tried but wasnât able to continue to work where I was. I wanted to find some way of contributing to my family.
âI started selling Miche handbags, but realized there are just so many purses you can sell,â she added with a chuckle.
So she diversified and eventually added Tupperware because of its long history and reputation for success. Being able to host the parties provides the stay-at-home mother of two a chance to earn some extra income while socializing with others, like during Quezadaâs recent Miche and margarita party.
Dawn Monge, also of Ontario, hosted an Origami Owl gathering with Quezada and decided to add a Christmas cookie exchange to the mix.
âI wanted to get some items for my grandmother so I knew I needed them and decided to have a get-together. We had lasagna, people brought salads and appetizers, we exchanged cookies and then Sarah did her presentation. It was about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish and was a great time,â Monge said.
The full-time teacher used to work with two direct sales companies herself, but now Mongeâs involvement is hosting a party every now and then when it fits her schedule.
âI like getting together with women outside of the workplace and without the kids. As hostess, if I earn something free for having the party, thatâs a nice perk, but I just enjoy the fun of getting together,â Monge said.
Quezada and Monge are among the 16.8 million people who have contributed to the continued success of the party-plan model, which hit $32.6 billion in estimated retail sales in 2013, according to the Direct Selling Association in Washington, D.C. Top products sold were geared toward wellness and services, while those of clothing/accessories and leisure/educational remained steady.
Zendigo Teas is among the newest to the party-plan direct sales industry and is eager to contribute to those statistics. The Duarte-based company began operations in October.
âAt Zendigo, we have Zendigo tea experiences instead of parties. We donât want people to expect cucumber sandwiches and scones,â said Jean Stroud, director of field development for Zendigo.
âWhat all our consultants do is provide education along with the experience in a comfortable home setting. They explain how to brew or steep tea, they talk about the health benefits of tea and the ways a body reacts differently to the caffeine in tea versus the jolt of energy one gets from coffee â things like that,â she noted.
âThe idea is to build a relationship with a consultant so when a customer needs something they have someone to go to.â

Damsel just posted this graphic and it made me think about how far we have come and how amazing it has been to be on this awesome journey with #damselindefense!
Way back when we didn’t have a catalog or updated products or any of the cute marketing materials. I love being able to work at home more (I
l am almost full time) and being able to support my family. Heck, who else can say they sell stun guns and pepper spray as well as empower women?
It’s been just over 3 years and I can’t wait to see what the next 50 years have to come! #lovemyjob #wahm
#damsel4life #biggerandbettereveryday #bestjobever #vegasdamsel #teamamperageangels
I get questions all the time about why we have pink stun guns but not black ones. Which we do :).
With Damsel we are focusing on products for women. We understand that it is not comfortable for a woman to walk into a “cop shop” and find pepper spray. I tell people all the time about how I will go into certain “cop shops” here in Vegas and am treated like a nothing. (Little do they know my law enforcement knowledge or how much myself and the hubby would spend in there if they were to treat me just like the guy that walked in).
Parties are more comfortable for women to see, feel and test our products. We don’t want our gals to walk out of a party and feel like they wasted an hour of their life. We want our gals to feel like they can take on the world when they leave the party. Watching the woman’s eye go from timid to empowered by the end of the party is why I love my job so much!
Don’t worry guys, we didn’t forget about you! We know the women in your lives love to buy you things so we also have all of our products in male friendly colors as well ;). Check out the image below.
If you have any questions at all dopn’t hesitate to contact me at amytime!
